Unbiased spirituality

Compassion, joy, equanimity, unconditional love, philosophical awareness, and a balanced perspective of psychology are the essential features of unbiased spirituality. Even “mainstream religions” allow themselves to have such views.

Even if the evolutionary stage of evolution could only relate to ‘legendary literal’ perspectives…

These basic qualities are still a ring of truth…

For many people exposed to the evolution of the stages of human development, they are drawn to the distraction of religions based on the lure of man-made myths, so-called miracles and magic that were once necessary to attract the attention of the collective consciousness of the ancient mentality thousands of years ago.

Some traditions have a way of maintaining a gradual progression of transcendence toward the higher and deeper realms of “personal” spiritual awareness.

Even the concept of “personal” spiritual awareness is still forbidden in most “religious” traditions.

Fortunately, there are a few new ‘sub-elements’ of mainstream religions branching out with more progressive inspirations and now beginning to extend their ancient traditions to the sensibilities of our rational, postmodern majority, thus ushering in many people who otherwise would not have been interested in the close-minded old traditional religions.

Transcending into higher and deeper views of higher personal consciousness, embedding core beliefs, integrating ethics, virtues, philosophical reasoning, and psychologically balanced views of an unbiased, personally fulfilled spirituality without the traditional, irrational requirements of believing that the myths, magic, and miracles of their faith are the often necessary literal evidence.”

These misconceptions of irrational beliefs that were traditionally required of rational people eventually backfired, causing a landslide for humanity not only to abandon religion, but also to abandon their pursuit of personally connected spirituality practice.

In other words…

The spiritual child was dumped in the dirty bath water of outdated traditional church doctrine.

One’s spiritual path is a personal “journey” toward the enlightenment of one’s own soul.

Not a guilt trip.

Nor is the “divide and rule” bias to separate those who pray as they do from the rest of humanity who can be disenfranchised because they believe those wretched souls will go to hell.

This is the traditional reason most wars start.

Faith is not about fearing “God”…it’s all about love.

There are no Christian words or books that explain “God”…to the point of attaining “heaven”.

Zen, Tao, Hindu Bhakti, and even the Noble Eightfold Path of Buddha…

At best it can only “indicate” a way to “experience” divine bliss for oneself.

Until you “taste” divinity through personal experience, you will never know “God.”

Consider that ‘God’ really is not the old white man, whom we were taught to fear… We sat selfishly on a golden throne, looking down on all the worthless sinners who longed to strike us down for the frivolous projections of the old mentality that once controlled church and state.

no…

“God” is a conceptually lesser concept and is the furthest from understanding our conceptual minds.

Yet very simple…

If you want to love God, you must first love yourself.

If you want to know God, you must first know your true self.

If you want to talk to “God”,

You must learn the language that “God” speaks…

Silence is the language of “God”.

Connecting with your inner stillness in meditative deep meditation will open a door to your inner silence.

Remaining in your inner silence will open the door for you to the boundless, sacred spaciousness that is the foundation of your true nature of being.

Meditate on the subtle awareness of your inner stillness, your silence, and finally

Union with boundless spaciousness…

Within one’s “center” there is a sacred space in which there are no thoughts, concepts, “me”, or duality… no past, no future… only the wholeness of the ever-present moments.

It is simply “it”.

And to rest there, in that… boundless space…

As if under the arms of the mother of the real being… nourished, protected, and pacified by the light of clear awareness…

This is as close to bliss as one can get…

Without liberation from the cycle of samsara and attainment of nirvana in this life.

Rest and anchor in this boundless space of your true nature for as long as it stays fresh…and repeat.

As the sun’s radiance ripens the fruits…

It radiates the virtues of unconditional love, joy, compassion and poise

For all living things everywhere.

Allow yourself to feel that brilliance reflecting back on you.

May this radiance fill your heart and soul with bliss

While you find contentment in the present moment…

thus,

Enjoy eternal bliss…

And

Make this world a better place for us

Children, children, children …
